Quarry Collecting Trip – April 26
Our inaugural trip back into the quarries April 26th was a success. Our 20 members obeyed all the rules and the carpooling went smoother than anticipated. Along with the usual Eocene mollusks, several meg teeth were found, as well as a partial giant beaver tooth (clearly younger than the Eocene…). It’s always a great day when you can be out fossil collecting and you never know what you will find.
