Holden Beach February 2023

The trip to Holden Beach a beautiful day -- warm (mostly) and sunny!

Finds included echinoids (Harduinia mortonis), both whole and broken, as well as other interesting fossils like boring clams (lots of borings, but also a few clams in them), bryozoan, a few small unremarkable shark teeth, some pieces of bone (palm-sized and smaller), Exogyra oysters, Pycnodonte oysters (no relation to pycnodont fish!), and some modern gastropod and anomia shells, along with coral and a limpet or two.
